Shepherd Welcomes Everyone

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church was established in 1972 as a member congregation of the Rocky Mountain Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

We believe that God’s grace is a gift freely given and that Jesus Christ gave his life for our salvation. Everyone is welcome to worship regardless of religious affiliation, baptismal status, race, age, gender or sexual orientation. All are welcome to the Lord’s table. We provide the environment to engage in spiritual conversation with God and others in our community.

Celebrate the Good News with us through prayer, song and the sacrament of Jesus Christ. You will be welcomed with open hearts and your spiritual gifts will be valued. Children are important to our congregational life together and included in worship and communion. We reach out to our community, our nation, and our world through unceasing prayer and action.

Our Mission

Marked by the cross of Christ forever, we

Gather in love

Grow in faith

Share God's love and grace

We are empowered to boldly proclaim and witness God's word. Lives are transformed through small group ministry.

Our Community

We serve the greater North East Boulder and Gunbarrel community as well as Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, Niwot, and South Longmont. We connect with others through small group ministries.

We also share our facility with Pardes Levavot, a Jewish Renewal Congregation.

Our facilities are used by community organizations such as:

  • Boy Scouts of America
