Shepherd Supports the Texas 4000

The riders of Texas 4000 For Cancer, and all who support them, are on a mission to spread hope across the continent as the riders touch lives while cycling over 4,500 miles from Austin, Texas to Anchorage, Alaska in 70 days. As they ride they will be sharing knowledge of prevention and early detection methods, and raising funds for cancer research and victim and family support initiatives. During the ride, both the Rockies and Coastal groups will visit hospitals, organizations and local churches to talk about their ride, what they are doing to fight cancer, and how we can help prevent and beat cancer.

Many thanks to everyone who provided potluck dishes, fellowship and served in other ways to support the Texas 4000 cyclists this year. They are an amazing group of students!
